The Samalá residences are designed to be experienced in a tropical climate near the sea. Their geometry, layout, and finishes are planned to encourage the breeze to flow through every corner of the house, allowing the occupants to enjoy the everyday pleasure of beach life.
The design is inspired by mid-20th-century modern architecture, featuring geometric shapes and large windows. Care is taken in selecting the materials to be used, which blend natural elements such as local stone and ceramic finishes with a colorful design, specifically created for the exclusive use of the development. Metal lattices with pre-Hispanic inspiration are placed in areas where they enhance the facade and promote cross-ventilation inside the home. Additionally, the use of large planters at the front, which would host lush plant species native to the Mexican Caribbean, is also highlighted.
